With national production, Emma Shapplin presented her new video
The renowned French singer Emma Shapplin has just presented her new video clip, with the particularity of having the realization of the Argentine director Germán Abal.
"Silenzio" is the name of the new production of the European artist, who worked with the experienced national producer Somniótica Contenidos.
As can be seen in the video clip, the general idea arises from a combination of elements. In the first instance, the images taken of two of the three most important glaciers in Argentina, recorded by Abal and shots in which Emma is the protagonist, that are of his own authorship.
Once Emma had a chance to see "Glaciarium", previous project by the same director, that covers the problem of global warming (documentary available on Cine.ar and other platforms), the first ideas for the realization of the clip began to be given.
According to what was explained by the director himself, To carry out this proposal, various aesthetic decisions were made such as working in the 4:3, give some nuance to the color treatment, enhancing the beauty of its settings, and rhythmic audio issues typical of the video clip language.
The song chosen for the video clip is "Silenzio", single from Emma Shapplin's new album, the world renowned French soprano, titled "Venere". Said single, and it is available on all digital platforms.
The antecedent of "Glaciarium"
"Glaciarum" is the documentary made by Abal, which also serves as a trigger for Shapplin's new video and his goal of "generating a message of conscience for a problem as complex as global warming", as explained by the director.
In that context, added to the advance of COVID -19, human life was modified in a "significant" way and it also "made me rethink the material I had shot and how I was going to tell the story", holds Abal.
"During this time, since preventive social isolation began, many positive changes for the planet were generated, which raised the question of what will happen once the isolation ceases definitively ", ended.
