The Ministry of Culture of the City opened in the last few hours a new edition of Patronage, the most important public-private tool towards the area in order to support cultural makers.

The main novelty, this year Patronage will offer a look with a focus on the federal and will remain open for almost a month. At the same time, will provide a budget 1.680 millions of pesos, a figure that represents an increase in 40 percent in consideration of the last edition.

Total, will be 14 the disciplines covered by the tool for initiatives, artists, managers and cultural doers from all over the country.

As usually happens in each edition, registration will be done online, through the Remote Procedures platform (THEN) and will be open until 17 hours of 22 of August.

Projects from all over the country that have the City Key can be submitted, as long as the project connects with the culture of the City.

In the case of a human person, the maximum amount to be approved will be one million pesos, while for a legal entity it will be fifteen million.

Patronage will be open for Dance disciplines, visual arts, Audiovisual arts and digital art, theater, Circus, mime and the like, Literature, Handicrafts and popular art, Design, Popular music, academic music, Cultural heritage, Publications, radio, television and internet sites with artistic and cultural content, Infrastructure and New Technologies.

Through the call 2021, which was aimed at promoting the reactivation of the cultural sector and promoting a possible future projection in the face of the suspension of activities caused by COVID-19, they were selected 1365 projects for a total of 1.260.803.384 of pesos, amount of which almost a 52 percent.
