The outstanding bassist and composer Franco Fontanarrosa will premiere a concert that can be seen online through the official YouTube channel of the National Bicentennial House.

The appointment will be on Friday 20 August from the 20, moment when the musician performs a single set with his instrument. It should be noted that it is a concert specially conceived for this space that proposes an alternation between improvisations and small compositions.

As it is a single set, Fontanarrosa seeks to expand the limits of the electric bass and approach it as an expressive tool, beyond its traditional role in music. Thus exploring their sound textures, the use of distortion, chords, extended techniques and all kinds of resources to generate a musical universe in which, in the end, it does not matter which instrument is transforming it into sound, but the atmosphere and the language that the musician is wanting to show.
