“Constellation of teachers” opens at the Museum of Popular Art
From Thursday 14 September the José Hernández Popular Art Museum will hold the inauguration of the exhibition “Constellation of teachers”, with a tribute to three great artists.
First, the work of goldsmith Edgar Michaelsen will be honored, through “I am through my disciples”, where pieces of his authorship can be seen on display, along with photographs, memories and anecdotes of his students. They expose: Laura Kupferschmidt , Alejandro Churla, Andrea Barzola, Andrea Michaeslsen, Emilio Patarca, Fidel Guigui, Horacio Alvarez, Javier Insúa, Jorge Castañon, Jorge Lozzi, Mario Zarate, Martin Viteri, Miguel Gasco, Piri Spoltore, Silvia Rinque y Vilma Truncellito.
Likewise, the MAP will exhibit the works of the ceramist Susana Biondi, artist from Viedma, who specializes in pre-Hispanic rescue ceramics. The exhibition will be called “Reflections of the Earth”.
Finally, Buenos Aires textile artist Mimí Bujalter will head the exhibition “Say with fibers”, where you can see part of his great collection made throughout 50 years of experience.
The opening will be from the 18 hours and then the samples can be seen 11 a 19 hours on mondays, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, while, the schedule will be 11 a 20. The cost of admission is 100 pesos (except on Wednesdays when it is free). While, minor 12 years, Retirees and university students with accreditation do not pay access.
