The third call of the "Córdoba writes" program is still in force
Until the 30 of June, The call for entries for the Cordoba historical chronicles genre “Dr. Lincoln R. Urquiza”, of the program Córdoba Writes.
The third call for the literary contest in which historical facts or events will be awarded, It is carried out by the town of Deán Funes. On this occasion the "Mariano Moreno" Popular Library, dependent on the Sub Directorate of Letters and Libraries, serves as the headquarters for Argentine writers older than 18 years, by birth or by option, residents in the territory of the province of Cordoba, participate in this call.
The call will remain open until the day 30 June 2021. The authors may participate with a single work to be seen on facts or events of a historical nature that occurred in the province of Córdoba. The chronicle must be of a real nature and its total length must not exceed the 10 A4 pages.
The works must be unpublished and presented digitally, in a PDF file, Times New Roman font size 12 and double line spacing. The title page must include the title of the work and the pseudonym of the author.. See Terms and conditions

The Literary Contest will distinguish:
- 1st Prize: Thirty thousand pesos ($30.000), diploma and publication of the work.
- 2nd Prize: Twenty thousand pesos ($20.000), diploma and publication of the work.
- Mentions: Diploma and publication of the work.
About the program
The Córdoba writes program establishes a series of literary competitions organized by the Córdoba Culture Agency together with different Popular Libraries that operate in various towns and regions of the province.
Its objective is to encourage the development of the art of writing in Córdoba through an initiative that generates new productions and broad participation..
The initiative allows the integration of different actors and communities of the provincial geography through a common cultural activity. The contests include a wide spectrum of literary and thematic genres that will vary depending on the venue., in order to encourage a broad participation of Cordovan writers (novices, unpublished or with a career and published work).
