Cultural agreement between important Ibero-American cities

Barcelona, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Lima and Lisbon come together in the framework of “Ciudad(is) Culture", Ibero-American meeting of cooperation between its digital platforms to offer content freely and for free.

This special program will be featured on the "Cultura en Casa" website from this Thursday 3 and on Friday 4 of September, with the premise of creating a bridge of solidarity and integration.

Esta iniciativa fue lanzada con la participación activa de la Comisión de Cultura de la Organización de Ciudades y Gobiernos Locales Unidos (CGLU), with the aim of guaranteeing cultural rights in these times of change that humanity faces.

For this new stage "Cultural Cities" seeks to exchange and promote content that contributes to dialogue between cities, strengthening the knowledge of the diverse heritage and cultural life that characterizes the cities of Ibero-America. With the premise of bringing art closer, culture and creation to the daily life of its citizens.

Among the proposals that can be enjoyed as a result of this exchange are initiatives related to different genres: performing arts, music, dance, literature; online guided visits to museums and buildings of heritage value, among other initiatives.

About the cooperation agreement that allowed this new exchange, the Minister of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires Enrique Avogadro, He held: “We are very happy to be able to carry out this new initiative that starts from the premise of making artistic and cultural activity a broad bridge of solidarity and integration., fundamental in these difficult times that we are going through. We are happy to be able to celebrate identity diversity with the cities of Ibero-America, and share quality content that brings us closer to their cultural expressions and heritage, so enriching for all of us. There is a common history that links us and there is enormous potential to continue working together. We are sure that we can do great things and in this framework it is essential to join forces in order to offer countries of the American continent - and the whole world - free online access to the most diverse artistic and cultural expressions ".

It should be noted that the contents will be highlighted the following contents on the website "Culture at Home" and then they will be hosted in the section What to do / Discover World Culture.
