The Ministry of Culture of the Nation, through the Directorate for the Promotion of Cultural Projects, announces the call for the edition 2020 for the National Science Awards, Arts and Letters.

These awards aim to give recognition to the country's creators and researchers whose works make up the cultural heritage of Argentines. The call is open from 28 from December to 2020 until the 13 February 2021

Authors older than 18 years, Argentine natives or naturalized and residing in the country through a registration form that can be accessed by doing Click here!

The National Awards constitute a distinction for authors who, through the work presented, have contributed significantly to the progress of the activity in which they compete.

In each of the disciplines, the jury may award up to three prizes and three special mentions.

First prize: $250.000, Diploma of Honor and a lifetime pension from 60 year old, equivalent to five minimum pensions.

Second prize: $160.000 pesos and Diploma of Honor.

Third award: $90.000 pesos and Diploma of Honor.

Special Mentions: Diploma of honor.

In the announcement 2020, The first editions of works published and / or released during the period will compete 2016-2019 without exception, in the following groups and specialties:

Letters: Children's literature

Performing Arts: Musical Theater and Children's Theater

Test: Philosophical Essay and Pedagogical Essay

Music: Jazz and Melodic
