The area of ​​Culture of the Province of Buenos Aires recently started the call for artists to be part of the Molina Campos Hall and the Young Art Hall 2020.

Both meetings will take place virtually in December and the selected works will become part of the collection of the Provincial Museum of Fine Arts Emilio Pettoruti, thus initiating his first virtual art collection.

For this opportunity, the categories to participate will be the visual arts in digital format, being able to present photographs, video art and performative record and illustration.

It should be noted that the work must be unpublished and free thematic, responding to any plastic trend, technical the procedural, within the category possibilities framework. An original piece per author who must apply for one of the salons and with works made between 2017 Y 2020.

Another requirement is that Argentine artists have been born in the province or have at least two years of residence. In the case of foreigners, must have a minimum of three years of residence in the country and two in the province of Buenos Aires and have between 18 Y 30 years of age at the closing date of registration for the Young Art and be older than 18 in the case of Molina Campos.

The jury of both rooms is made up of specialists Fernando Farina, Marcela cabutti, Daniel Besoytaorube, Guillermina Mongan and Nicolás Testoni, who will work remotely in the selection of works.

Registration and sending of material will be enabled from next Monday 16 until the 30 of this month, in both cases, and between the 7 and the 18 December will be the selection of works while the 21 the selected ones will be announced.

The selected works will be presented in a virtual curatorship conducted by Museum staff and the jury, among which will be the winners.

For the Florencio Molina Campos Provincial Hall 2020 the prizes are three of acquisition of 70.000 pesos each and an additional one of 30.000, plus three honorable mentions.

Instead, for the Young Art Salon 2020, the prizes are three acquisition by 60.000 pesos and three honorable mentions with diploma.
