Credits for the performing arts sector

Through a video conference led by Cecilia Todesca, deputy head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Nation, a series of measures were announced for the performing arts sector within the context of social and compulsory isolation.

These announcements were made during the first of the meetings established with the table of cultural SMEs, one of the sectors hardest hit during the quarantine. Within this framework, a loan was presented at the 18% with the support of the Argentine Guarantee Fund (HOME) and the National Productive Development Fund (FONDEP).

On the other hand, measures were also taken for the monotributistas, who will be able to access rate credits 0 for the amount equivalent to three times the maximum billing of the applicant's category, with 8 months of grace for the payment of the first installment.

Another of the determinations was to extend the Emergency Assistance to Work and Production (ATP) until October and the establishment of the work agenda with the Federal Administration of Public Revenue (AFIP) for addressing special solutions in relation to specific requests in tax matters.

The Undersecretary General of the Presidency was part of the videoconference, Miguel Cuberos; the Secretary of Cultural Development, Lucrecia Cardoso; the National Director of Cultural Industries of the Ministry of Culture of the Nation, Luis “el Chino” Sanjurjo and the National Director of Regional and Sector Development of the Ministry of Production, Leandro Mora Alfonsín.

On behalf of the Argentine Association of Theater and Musical Entrepreneurs (AADET) Graciana Maro and Javier Faroni participated remotely; on behalf of the Association of Argentine Musical Managers (ACMMA) Ana Poluyan and Hernán Gutiérrez; by the Chamber of the Argentine Entertainment Industry (Devise) were Eduardo Sempé and Ariel Gambini and by the Argentine Chamber of Technique Providers for Events and Shows (CAPTURE), Guillermo González and Rodrigo Lavechia.
