The season of the show "Chronicle of a kidnapping", by Mario Diament, will come to an end this friday 10 December at the Kairós Method theater.

In this thriller, the public will be placed in the conflict that will face the inability to assume the blame and the paradoxical process of victimization that makes the criminal himself in modern societies.

Within that context, the director will expose how man commonly protects himself against nature, against external threat and against their own instincts, but he is usually helpless before his conscience. Beyond the laws and punishments, it is the man alone with himself who gives the real measure of his guilt.

In the work, Emilio Morel, an insurance agent, is kidnapped without apparent cause that justifies it. He considers himself an ordinary man, neither rich nor poor, an exemplary citizen, appreciated by friends and family… Why then have they kidnapped him?

While waiting for the ransom to be paid by his wife, Morel will be the victim of a perverse game by his captors, that will take you to the extreme of doubting if you are the same person you have believed yourself to be from the beginning.
