Recently, the International Festival of Animated Shorts, Carton, finished its new edition, announcing the winners of all categories at the Cultural Center of Science.

With activities and screenings that were enjoyed in person and also online through the Octubre TV platform, This year the Festival had its traditional headquarters in Almagro located in La Tribu Mostra Bar and also added the Municipal Institute of Cinematographic Art (IDAC) in Avellaneda.

As detailed by the organizers, this year the call received films from 108 countries and featured an official selection of 190 short films, 132 of which were organized into eight competitions: Narrative (Argentine and International), Microcortos (Argentine and International), Experimental, Videoclips, Series, Film/Animation students. This Carton edition sought to promote the exhibition of Argentine cinema, which is why it has 117 national origin productions.
