"From walking on the edge", group show in Gachi Prieto
This Tuesday he inaugurates "Walking on the Edge", the brand new exhibition that brings together a series of creations by the artists Mara Caffarone, Maria Elisa Luna, Julia Masvernat, Kirsten Mosel y Jessica Trosman.
Under the curatorship of Clarisa Appendino, The sample can be enjoyed at the Gachi Prieto Gallery until 10 of September, under strict protocol and by booking an appointment.
This group exhibition will remain open from Tuesday to Friday from 14.30 a 19 and presents different ways of arriving at abstraction with languages and materialities that are also dissimilar.
According to the curator, in the works of these artists “a subtle impulse to travel the limit space of forms is filtered, to travel the arbitrary place -although definitive- of things, to move between the material split and the necessary link with the alien ".
Appendino adds that the exhibition “introduces us to open space, the shared, the public. Indicates a path that is built by cutting or carving a flat surface, when denting a pattern or an apparently soft object or when marking the limits of transparency and retracing a knot of lines. In these actions the city sneaks, the journey and unusual places like quarry of imprecise sketches which are later transformed, slowly but decidedly, on the edges of new ways ".
