Mate Day at the José Hernández Popular Art Museum

On Sunday 4 December the Mate Day will be celebrated and for the occasion, the José Hernández Popular Art Museum (MAPJH) will carry out a special day, to enjoy for free and with the family.

The meeting will take place between 14 Y 20 hours at the headquarters of the venue located on Avenida del Libertador 2373. There will be the celebration that this time will be held together with the Association of Silversmiths and Silversmiths of Argentina.

First, one day before (Saturday 3) the Association will expose mates of its authorship. Later, on Sunday there will be a chiseling demonstration from 14, before the presentation of the ensemble Entrecuerdas, which will play at 16.

At 17 h la licenciada Guiomar de Urgell dará la charla “El mate a través del tiempo”, where you can learn more about the history of one of the most beloved habits of Argentines.

Meanwhile, Emilia Zavaleta will speak about "Eduarda Mansilla and the role of women in gaucho literature" at the 18 hours. These stories will be accompanied by a dance show by Agustina Maier.

Finally from 19 the Association of Silversmiths and Silversmiths will hold a skoll in homage to Edgar Michaelsen accompanied by live music in the garden by "Los ingenieros: Guillermo Segade / Mario Meneghini”.
