Special activities for the International Museum Day in CABA
As part of the celebration of International Museum Day 2018, cultural venues that are part of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires carried out a series of special activities with free admission.
It is worth informing that this day is celebrated from 1977, based on the initiative of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and from that moment, every year a motto to work is highlighted. This year, it will be "Hyperconnected Museums: new approaches, new audiences ”.
Under this motto, cultural venues will emphasize the public that is increasingly connected to the world through technology. That is why museums must redefine themselves, beyond being a place of constant knowledge and conservation of heritage, should now become a reference, a meeting point, exchange and transformation, always looking for closeness with the public.
On the other hand, who visit any of these proposals, They can share it on their social networks using the hashtag # FelizDíaMuseos and # DIM2018.
