“The Beatles: Get Back ”is the name of the documentary made by Peter Jackson and that will finally arrive exclusively on the Disney Plus platform at the end of November.

This production will bring together more than six hours of restored unpublished material, including the latest live Beatles concert. All this historical archive will be seen for three consecutive days, the 25, 26 Y 27 of that month.

As explained from the Disney studios, Peter Jackson gathered so much material that it was decided that it would be best to screen it in three editions. In this context, Bob Iger, one of the directors of the famous company expressed that “I am a great admirer of the Beatles, so I am absolutely thrilled that Disney + is the home of this extraordinary documentary series from legendary filmmaker Peter Jackson. ".

Igner added that “this phenomenal collection of unpublished material offers us an unprecedented look at the close camaraderie, creative genius and incredible impact from one of the most iconic and culturally influential groups of all time, and we can't wait to share it with fans around the world”.

At the same time, director Peter Jackson explained that in several respects, “Michael Lindsay-Hogg's extraordinary material captured multiple story lines. History as friends and as people. It is the story of human frailties and a divine association. It is a detailed account of the creative process, with the composition of iconic songs under pressure, amidst the social climate of early 1969. But it is not a nostalgic tale: it's raw, honest and humane. For more than six hours, they will get to know the Beatles with an intimacy they never would have thought possible ".

Jackson was "very grateful to the Beatles, to Apple Corps and Disney for allowing me to present this story the way it was meant to be told. I have been immersed in this project for almost three years, and I'm very excited that audiences around the world can finally see it. ".
