Recently, the Ministry of Culture of Buenos Aires distinguished several of the companies that contribute to the Patronage program.

In order to strengthen ties and build loyalty and encourage greater commitment, a meeting was held at the Colón Fábrica, in which the Minister of Culture Enrique Avogadro and representatives of the participating companies participated.

It is worth noting that thanks to this proposal more than 1.500 cultural projects are possible to carry out every year, becoming the project that provides the most financing for cultural projects based on joint cultural participation between the public and private sectors, together with the artists and makers of the culture of the City.

For this opportunity, the program added a federal criterion, allowing non-profit individuals and legal entities -such as civil associations, foundations and non-governmental organizations- of all country, to participate. As long as the project could establish links with artists from the City of Buenos Aires, as well as those residing in CABA, being able to develop the project anywhere in Argentina.

One of the companies that contributes the most with Patronage is Santander. That together with the City recently launched the Santander Foundation Award for BA Dance, to which they appeared in a very short time 48 dance works, and four of them were shortlisted.

In this award, the City distinguished above all the companies that generated an internal business policy to accompany the approved projects with genuine amounts; generating, for example, a specific budget, with interest in articulating each project with different corporate business areas and their human resources areas, to bring employees closer to new experiences or extend the impact of art and culture to new audiences.

Within that context, three companies met these characteristics and were honored with special distinctions from Impulso Cultural: Santander Bank and Foundation, Itaú Bank and Foundation and Macro Bank.

Banco Supervielle, Bank of Galicia and Buenos Aires s.a.u, Banco Industrial, YPF, comafi bank, Zurich Santander, Zurich Argentina, Stock exchanges and Argentine markets, stock box, hipotecary Banc, origins, Goldmund, Nature, Irsa and Balanz were distinguished for Patronage.
