Grief over the death of Marie Fredriksson, Roxette singer
The popular singer Marie Fredriksson Swedish pop artist died at 61 years because of brain cancer with fighting from 2002.
Fredrikssin, who was part of the recognized duo Roxette with composer, singer and guitarist Per Gessle, so long he faced this harsh illness that forced her to relearn not only to sing, but also to talk.
In recent years the struggle and the strength of the artist were admirable, as they got back to the stage years later.
This was explained through a press statement his agent Marie Dimberg: "With great sadness we have to announce that one of our greatest artists and loved is gone. Marie Fredriksson died on the morning of the 9 December for its ancient disease ".
Meanwhile, Gessle was also expressed by social networks and noted that "time is too fast. Not long ago we spent days and nights in my little apartment sharing impossible dreams. And what a dream we had for sharing!" and I add: "I am honored to have known your talent and generosity. All my love for yourself and your family. Things will never be the same ".

Roxette formed in 1986 and from that moment they began a path to the top that meant more than 75 million records sold around the world. Total, were nine studio albums with sales that placed behind ABBA on the list of most popular Swedish bands.
