Two national galleries will be part of the prestigious Art Basel fair
For the first time, two national art galleries will be part of the prestigious Art Basel fair. It's about Waldengallery and Floating Island, who will present their works from next week.
Art Basel is one of the largest global fairs in the art market and, from next week, will have its second edition online as a result of the pandemic due to the advance of the coronavirus.
Total, the fair brings together 281 galleries from 35 countries around the world. All works will be available on the web between 19 and the 26 of June.
This time Waldengallery presents the Mexican artist Ulises Carrión (1941-1989), to the Argentine Juan Carlos Romero (1931-2017) and Uruguayan Antonio Slepak (1939-2016). While, The Floating Island Gallery exhibits works by the artist Andrés Pereira Paz from Bolivia, Ana Prata from Brazil and Mariela Scafati from Argentina.
