Ediciones Bonaerenses published its first three books

Buenos Aires editions, the publishing house belonging to the Province of Buenos Aires, announced the release of its first three copies.

Consequently, the titles that saw the light are "Against the leaden sky", "Fantastic Buenos Aires" and "Background and constitutional texts of the Province of Buenos Aires (1820-1994)”.

Regarding the publisher, was launched with the simple objective of democratizing the word, guarantee the plural and diverse circulation of voices and strengthen and expand the cultural heritage of the province through the publication of books.

As explained in a statement, in this first stage of releases, fiction titles will be published, historical essay and documentation, organized in various collections: Buenos Aires classics, intended for unpublished and forgotten texts by established authors, New Narratives, that gathers the production of the young promises of the province and whose covers are illustrated by contemporary plastic artists, Works and documents, that puts into circulation historical documents that make up the Buenos Aires identity.

Notably, to guarantee free and open access to their publications from an inclusive practice, Ediciones Bonaerenses has distribution throughout the province through popular and public libraries and will also appeal to the production of books in different formats and supports. The titles are printed in the Provincial Directorate of Printing and Digitization of the State (DIPIDE).
