The Buenos Aires Ministry of Culture through the Impulso Cultural platform, opened the call for the second call of BAMúsica 2022, the financing program that promotes the live artistic development of soloists and music groups in the City.

Registration will be open until Friday 19 August at 5:00 p.m. and will have 2 financing lines (the Live Music Clubs line was only open during the first call of the year). This time it will be the turn of groups and soloists.

Total, 351 projects were submitted to the first call of the call 2022, of which the City selected 276 in order to accompany their development and integrate them into the cultural proposal of the City.

This year, BAMúsica will allocate a total of 36.409.100 pesos to local music projects.

To apply in the call, It is a requirement to have presented the Surrender of the subsidy granted in the year 2021.

With the aim of bringing the available tools closer to the different sectors that make up the vast field of music in the City, BAMúsica will hold a virtual informative talk on Thursday 11 August at 18 hours, whose registration will be online.

With the same objective of accompanying and supporting the national music industry, In August, the City, through Impulso Cultural, launched a new edition of BAFIM, the International Music Fair of Buenos Aires, that returned with a federal and diverse look.

In this context and for four days, of the 16 al 19 of November, the City will become the epicenter of music throughout the country with the presence of artists, seals, organizations, management companies, managers, programmers, agencies, Specialized media, international guests and general public, with three calls so that cultural creators from all over the country can participate in the previous training program and the great event in November.

At present, and until next wednesday 17 of August, Enrollment for Campus BAFIM is open, a training space for independent musical projects from all over Argentina that promotes professionalization through modules with outstanding references and specific mentoring for the development of projects.

The call for Showcases, intended for artists who want to participate in shows of 20 minutes in which they can show their work to programmers, buyers, managers, industry professionals and the general public, will open in september; and the call for business rounds, that will offer spaces for linking artists, professionals from all over the country and international guests, will be available from october.
