The 23 The second edition of Abasto In Situ will arrive in November, la propuesta que transformará al barrio porteño en una gran experiencia escénica hasta el 3 from December.

All these presentations will be at iconic points in the neighborhood, With free entry.

It is worth noting that this proposal came with the aim of consolidating the Abasto neighborhood as a pole of independent culture.; transforming cultural district of public space in which its inhabitants and spaces are the true protagonists of the overwhelming cycle of scenic experiences 2023.

The works that will be part of this edition will be “Yo de Piel” by the performer, choreographer and director Leticia Mazur; “Space Alley” piece directed by Javier Daulte (made in commemoration of the 30 years of the emblematic Espacio Callejón theater) and “Night of Domes. Edición Cielos del Abasto” de Lorena Romanin con curaduría de Ana Groch – proyecto que vincula música en vivo e intervenciones escénicas site specific en cúpulas del barrio –.

The winning premieres of the In Situ Award 2023 son: “Niñxs del Abasto” by Cristian Scotton, obra de teatro de narración oral que busca contar historias del barrio del Abasto hoy, written by neighborhood children, using as a stage the façade of Public School N22 D.E.2 – Carlos J. Benielli. Meanwhile, DJ Cucaracha presents “No dio abasto” directed by Dana Crosa on the steps of Shopping Abasto and Boom Ceviche- Bailable, the work located in the Peruvian restaurant Chabuca Granda based on Rosa's memories, its owner, protagonist of this story in which a series of danceable paintings unfold.

Abasto Cultural Quarter was distinguished by United Cities and Local Governments (CGLU) with the international UCLG-Mexico City-Culture award 21 in the City/Local or Regional Government category.
