Between rivers: The Fine Arts chose the works of its Provincial Visual Arts Hall

Recently, the Provincial Museum of Fine Arts "Doctor Pedro E. Martínez ”from Entre Ríos selected the works corresponding to his LVIII Provincial Visual Arts Hall.

In that context, were 107 pieces that will now make up the largest and most federal annual collective exhibition of visual arts on the Entre Ríos art scene and that will compete for the “Gobierno de Entre Ríos” Acquisition Awards.

With an update in its name and the inclusion of a new discipline, the classic contest especially aimed at visual artists of the province brought together the application of a total of 318 works in the Painting sections, Drawing, Sculpture, Recorded, Ceramic Art and the new Textile Art incorporation.

The jury distinguished 72 artists within the six participating disciplines. The chosen ones are from Paraná, San Salvador, Victoria, Gualeguaychú, Chajarí, Saint Joseph of Feliciano, Villa Libertador San Martin, Concordia, Santa Anita, Conception of Uruguay, Cerrito, Rosario del Tala, Nogoyá, Hasenkamp, Colon, Diamante, General Ramirez, Big mary, Basavilbaso, Villaguay and Villa Alcaráz.

From now on, The chosen works will compete for the Acquisition Awards "Gobierno de Entre Ríos" which this year add up to a total of 630 thousand pesos to be distributed among the first and second places of each of the sections.

Regarding the latter, The awards will be defined on 2 November at a new Jury meeting.

The submission of the works for the award stage must be made to the Museum headquarters (Buenos Aires street 355 of Paraná) this Thursday 23 from September to Friday 22 October inclusive, Tuesday through Friday 8 a 12 and of 16 a 20. No works will be received on Mondays, weekends or holidays.

The award ceremony and opening of the exhibition is scheduled for Friday 26 of November.
