The Fine Arts presents a cycle of Italian cinema online

During the current month of August and September, the National Museum of Fine Arts will carry out the cycle of Italian cinema “Al Cinema! Fine Arts Edition-Rosario ”, who will present one movie per week.

In this way, The National Museum of Fine Arts will present, with the collaboration and support of the Italian Institute of Culture of Buenos Aires, the Italian Embassy, the Italian Consulate General of Rosario and Mirada Distribution, a cycle of contemporary Italian films, that will be available to watch for free every week.

The series "A Cinema! Fine Arts Edition-Rosario ”will offer a selection of seven films, many of which did not go through the halls of our country, that cover a wide variety of genres, from comedy to drama, from sports competition to police, and reflect the enormous diversity and quality of Italian cinema today.

Each of the films will be available for five days, from Thursday at 18. To access the free viewing link, the spectator must fill out a registration form on the Eventbrite platform for each of the events.

The first movie available, From this one 6 of August, will be “Noi e la Giulia”, directed by Edoardo Leo. Next week, from the 13 of August, podrá verse "Fast as the wind", de Matteo Rovere; Meanwhile he 20 August will be the turn of "La ragazza del mondo", by Marco Danieli, and the 27 August will arrive “La leggenda di Kaspar Hauser”, de Davide Manuli.

While, in September, can be enjoyed “Il permesso – 48 hours out ", by Claudio Amendola (from 3/9); "The hidden color of things", de Silvio Soldini (from 10/9); y "The war of the peasants", de Davide Barletti y Lorenzo Conte (from 17/9).

The selection, by the curator of Fine Arts cinema, Leonardo D’Espósito, has as its axis the search for universality, and tries to present what it is that the Italian screen has to show about the world from its characters, of their ways of saying and narrating. It is about, especially, from movies that express, also, the pleasure of having the image and the sound.

"From euphoric experimentation to the crudest of realism," says the critic., these italian movies, belonging to a cinematography that has been a pioneer in creating forms since the very beginning of the seventh art, they also represent the hope that cinema will continue to live in times where such survival arises among question marks ”.
