The National Museum of the Cabildo of Buenos Aires and the May Revolution has just inaugurated two exhibitions totally designed for the reopening of the traditional Buenos Aires enclosure.

In this way, the public can now enjoy "Fragmentos bajo Tierra", with the curatorship of the archaeologist Néstor Zubeldía and “Rara Felicidad la de los Time", by the artist Ariel Cusnir with the curatorship of Bárbara Golubicki.

"Fragments under Earth" aims to make visible the different stages of the excavation work carried out in the South Patio of the Cabildo. Some of the 2000 cultural objects found so far, among which are the foundations of the old Cabildo de 1725.

Meanwhile, "Rare Happiness of the Times", takes as its starting point the role of the graphic press in the English invasions and the struggles for independence and is, at once, an invitation to reflect on the construction of the discourses and images of the past.

The exhibition proposes friendly dialogues between Cusnir's drawings and watercolors and a selection of objects from the Museum's collection. This is one of the 60 winning projects of the edition 2020 of the Activate Heritage scholarship program of the Secretariat of Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture of the Nation.
