The Buenos Aires carnival returns with all its splendor
The City of Buenos Aires will carry out its typical carnival during all the weekends and holidays in February in all the neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, with the presence of more than 100 Murguero shows.
In total there will be 34 corsican, more of 100 groups and ten thousand murgueros and murgeras that will meet at the new edition of the Porteño Carnival that will take place in 34 locations.
As explained by the Buenos Aires Minister of Culture Enrique Avogadro, “This year we have the joy of celebrating Carnival again with our traditional murgas and parades to revalue our history and celebrate all the magic of the Buenos Aires identity”.
“Carnival is one of the most important festivals in the City”, Avogadro assured. It should be noted that this edition of the Carnival will be more than important because it will mean its post-pandemic return and after a special edition that accommodated the context experienced..
Meetings will be every Saturday, Sundays and holidays in February (Saturdays, Sunday 19 and Monday 20, of 19 a 2 h, and Sundays of 19 a 00 h).
For the celebrations, will be made 24 total cuts in the City and 10 partial. They will be communicated in advance to ensure less impact on traffic and its flow; so neighbors will know in advance about them, via geolocated communication.
The complete program of this new edition of the Carnival, and the information of the participating groups, can be consulted from Vivamos Cultura.
