The CEC will summon artists from all over the country for its Emerging cycle

Within the framework of the Emerging cycle 2023, the Center for Contemporary Expressions (CHECK) de Rosario will open a call to artists from all over the country for the realization of the light gallery, the card, intervened space, audiovisual production and minigallery.

For this reason, the Secretary of Culture and Education of the Municipality of Rosario will award the various cash prizes as a stimulus to production.

Within the framework of the Tarjetón project, there will be ten prizes of 10 thousand pesos per selected image. In the case of the Light Gallery, there will be two prizes of ten thousand pesos.

Likewise, Espacio Intervenido will provide six awards for 40 A thousand pesos. For Audiovisual Production there will be a maximum of two awards of 10 thousand pesos and for the Minigallery there will be three prizes of 40 thousand pesos per project.

As explained by Roberto Echen, visual arts curator of the CEC and artistic director of the Castagnino+macro Museum, “the Emerging call of the CEC, which fortunately has been carried out continuously, has enabled the access of a number of new artists to areas such as this space, In my opinion one of the best rooms in the city”.

Proposals will be received until Wednesday. 8 February 2023 inclusive. The result of the selection will be communicated from Friday 17 February 2023 on the Rosario Culture platform.
