With the work of Marco Zampieron, this Friday 25 June will open the Mini Virtual Gallery of the CEC of Rosario, that can be enjoyed with free access and online.

"Landscape tautology" is the name of the artist's creation that will be seen on the site www.cecrosario.gob.ar and that is part of the cycle that will inaugurate from 19, with presentations that will also be added to social networks.

According to Roberto Echen (CEC visual arts curator), The Mini Gallery offers the "possibility that the language and artistic modality that we mentioned allows us to continue producing mini galleries in these times".

In that context, "This modality had from the beginning a link with this type of images: digitization is at the base of the production of those who have formed and are part of this space (even if your photos have an analog base)”.

“I cannot speak - for that and for other reasons - of‘ virtual ’. I believe that it is really a different way that it assumes - thanks to the initiative of the communication area of ​​the CEC - this space to continue with its way of existing: to enable the visibility of emerging productions that we believe deserve to be seen and enjoyed ”, ended.

On the other hand, Zampieron reflects on "Landscape Tautology" and expresses that "the idea of ​​encounter appears with pregnancy, taking the structure of the story to become manifest through the image".

The artist affirms that “after a pilgrimage through the territory what remains is to stop at the narrative outcome between who looks and who is observed. From the trip, what is established as constant is the search for a landscape; over time I discovered an obsession for the distant, attracted by the enjoyment of the unnecessary, for the pleasure of the look ".

Zampieron chooses "to take refuge in the indefinite, in the immensity that allows me to distance myself to be able to contemplate in silence. What gives me abandonment stops me, the disinterest of the things that have been forgotten; nostalgia for the stories I'll never know. From walking the country roads, I learn about the dimension of distances ".
