Within the Mini Virtual Gallery cycle 2021, the CEC of Rosario will present the exhibition "Urban Surrealism", by the artist Jeremías Poliotto.

The inauguration will be this Friday 13 August from the 19 hours and can be seen through the platform www.cecrosario.gob.ar. It should be noted that "Urban Surrealism" will also mean the closing of the Mini Virtual Gallery season 2021.

In this sample the author details that inhabits "the city, transit, I breathe it, I observe it and it is inevitable to capture it in images ". At the same time, Poliotto adds: “I immerse myself in the possibilities that reflections enable as an opportunity for superposition and abstraction, generating spatially impossible images with multiple interpretations, that disconcert when they see them, but they invite you to go through them ".

About his work, the artist explains that most of his photographs arise “in certain moments in a conscious way and in others instinctively, as I circle through the city. Sometimes they result in a complex composition, other simpler, but there is always something between random and mysterious that motivates me to do them ".

Born in Venado Tuerto in 1982, Polioto started the Architecture career at the National University of Rosario, and in parallel he began to experiment with photography in a self-taught way.

With samples and individual and group exhibitions in different cities, since 2017 Together with a group of artists from Venice, they founded MIA VT (Venado Tuerto International Art Museum), through which they carried out various public artistic events.
