Chamamé arrive in February to Buenos Aires neighborhoods

As it confirmed so recent, Buenos Aires will have a circuit of clubs chamameceras, Usina with presence of the Art and the Mataderos, among other important cultural sites.

In order to visualize and disseminate gender and culture, the rocks will start in February, following an agreement between the department of Culture of Buenos Aires and the Institute of Culture of Corrientes.

In that context, Culture Minister Enrique Avogadro City and president of the Institute of Culture of Corrientes Gabriel Romero, They announced the joint execution of a circuit of clubs in the neighborhoods chamameceras. They also reported that most project activities related to other cultural expressions of the region.

Announcing, Romero said that "the idea is to add further proposals including our carnival, food and crafts ". Likewise, made reference to the continuing tie between the Official Theater Juan de Vera de Corrientes and the Colon.

The first rock is in Niceto Club, located in the neighborhood of Palermo, and will feature performances of young bandoneonista Milagros Caliva and songwriter Juan Antonio Barberán correntino. Similarly, New rocks are projected in the traditional market Slaughterhouses, assistant to which a huge amount of public every weekend, and the Power Plant Art, in the South of the City.

Meanwhile, Avogadro expressed his joy at the project and explained that "We feel that working together we can do great things; chamamé is the heritage of the correntinos, but also of all Argentines and humanity ".

The official added: "The interest that brings us has to do with learning from the work they are doing here, at the Institute of Culture of the province, but also to give visibility to the correntina culture in the City of Buenos Aires ".
