Renowned cycle Historias Breves, promoted by the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA), He opened its call for filmmakers who wish to part with their fictional projects.

This call will remain open until the 21 of June, where those interested can contribute their short films based on original ideas and themes totally free, by INCAA online system.

Once started the contest, -made a select jury of renowned personalities from the film industry and culture- will elect 14 winning a prize will be 1.500.000 weights and advice from professionals long career.

Historias Breves cycle was created in 1995, in order to stimulate production and directing short films and allow the filmmakers to capture new trends in practice and film aesthetics. Some of the directors who participated in previous editions are Pablo Trapero, Lucrecia Martel, Daniel Burman, Adrian Caetano, Bruno Stagnaro, Rodrigo Large, Andrés Muschietti or Santiago Loza, among others.
