Within the framework of the prestigious Konex awards, It was announced that the Mendoza cycle Classical Music through the Wine Roads will be one of the winners.

Through an institutional publication, it was highlighted that one of those 100 Diplomas of Merit will be for this traditional meeting held in the aforementioned province and which aims to bring this musical genre to other audiences and stages.

The celebration of the Konex Awards will take place in the Assembly Hall of the Law School of the University of Buenos Aires, on Tuesday 10 of September.

The cycle organized by the Secretary of Culture of Mendoza will receive the diploma as "Outstanding Facts for the dissemination of Classical Music in Argentina" and shares the distinction with the Cycle of Contemporary Music Concerts of the General San Martin Theater; Patagonia Cultural Foundation International Percussion Festival; Gourmet Musical Editions; Iguazú in Concert and National Classical Radio.

In 2019, Classical Music along the roads of wine commemorated its number edition 20, more than 3200 kilometers traveled, throughout the province, in 80 concerts, more than 500 artists. Thousands of Mendoza and tourists were able to enjoy a cycle that ran through the 18 apartments and spaces of great natural beauty, like the Ñacuñán Reserve, Caverna de las Brujas, Villavicencio Reserve, Lake Walk, in Rivadavia, in addition to wineries and heritage spaces.
