The cycle "Musical Offerings" presents the pianist José David Rocha
Within the framework of the cycle "Musical Offerings" presented by the Kirchner Culture Center (CCK), tonight the talented pianist José David Rocha will perform.
With the possibility to appreciate the concert for free and virtual, the musician will perform works by Beethoven, Schumann, Chopin and Liszt from 20, with a transmission that will be made from the platform belonging to the Buenos Aires campus and through its official YouTube channel.
In the repertoire of the young musician will appear works by Beethoven (third movement of the sonata No. 17, "The Tempest"), Schumann ("Upswing", from the Fantasy Pieces op. 12), Chopin (nocturnal posthumous opus and scherzo n ° 3) y Liszt ("A sigh", concert studio).
This presentation was recorded during compulsory social isolation, respecting the corresponding protocols, being the CCK one of the first establishments to generate content for its platform.
Rocha, born in 2001 in London, began his piano studies at the age of seven and was perfected with Nessy Muhr, Nahuel Circosta, Volker Aurelio and Antonio Formaro. Considered one of the talents of the new generation, got the first prize (shared) in the national competitions of the Catedral Foundation (2014) and the Civil Association Festival de Pianistas (2015).
At the same time, He continued his training through master classes with Boris Giltburg (Russia) and Alexander Panizza (Argentina) and in March 2018 performed in the 11th edition of the cycle "El Camino del Santo", organized by the Secretary of Culture of San Isidro, in section “Young Interpreters”, with cellist Lucas Brass.
