Within the framework of the Vecine Vecine cycle and to commemorate the 87 anniversary of the death of Carlos Gardel, the York Cinema will screen two of his films fully restored and with free admission.

The films in question are "This is how Gardel sang" (1935) and "The day you love me" (1935), projections that will be given through Lumiton, together with the Fundación Cinemateca Argentina. Both can be seen this Friday 24 June from the 20 in the Alberdi compound 895 (olives).

"This is how Gardel sang", by Eduardo Morera, It is a tape that brings together several of the shorts filmed by the singer at the beginning of the years 30, that gave birth to Argentine sound cinema. César Fiaschi is also a part of the film., Ines Murray, Celedonio Esteban Flores, Francisco Canaro, Henry Santos Discepolo and Arthur of Nava.

Meanwhile, "The day you love me" is one of the great productions of Paramount studios, which was made at the moment of greatest international popularity of El Zorzal Criollo. The film premiered in Argentina after the death of the singer.
