The illustrious citizen candidate for Best Picture at the Ariel Awards

The illustrious citizen, the film by Gastón Duprat and Mariano Cohn, starring Oscar Martinez, was appointed to represent the country in the Best Film category at the Ariel Awards, organized by the Mexican Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences.

En esta edición del festival, the number 59, participarán 116 films. El requisito que debe cumplir cada una de ellas es que haya sido estrenada entre el 1° de enero y el 31 from December to 2016.

Cabe señalar que la elección de El ciudadano ilustre estuvo a cargo de los asociados a la Academia de Cine de Argentina, al igual que sucedió con las elecciones nacionales de los premios de las academias de Hollywood y España.
