The classic "Danse Macabre" opens at the Teatro Regio

On Wednesday 18 of September (from 20.30) will take place at the Teatro Regio premiere of a new version of "Dance Macabre", August Strindberg classic, directed by Fedra Analía García.

The play tells the story of a couple about to celebrate its silver anniversary. In this situation, Kurt's visit -who united ago 25 years-, awakens new games in marriage, to unleash a fierce battle.

August Strindberg opened the twentieth century with this piece that masterfully mixes the comic and dramatic, the desire to be loved and to destroy the other. And invites laugh at the horror and shuddering of the ridiculous.

The brand new show features an integrated cast by Leonor Manso, Antonio Grimau and Gustavo Pardi. In addition Gustavo García Mendy will be present as a musician on stage and responsible for the original music and sound design, Juan Pablo Sierra (advisory body and choreography), Marco Pastorino (Illumination design), Paula Molina (Costume Design) and Rodrigo González Garillo (set design).

As for the functions, will be from Wednesday to Saturday (to 20.30) and the Sundays, to 20.
