The composer Federico Jusid will give a concert at the Teatro Colón

After being awarded two Silver Condor Awards, the renowned composer Federico Jusid will perform at the Teatro Colón together with the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra.

Recently recognized for having musicalized the series "Iosi" and "Santa Evita", the director and composer –son of filmmaker Juan José Jusid and actress Luisina Brando- will be present this friday 25 November in the traditional Buenos Aires venue, where he will perform works by Ginastera with his musicians, Nante and two pieces of his authorship. One of them, a concerto for accordion and symphony orchestra, dedicated to the soloist Iñaki Alberdi, work commissioned by the Philharmonic.

Among his original compositions for films, the score of the award-winning “El secreto de sus ojos” stands out (Juan Jose Campanella), Oscar winner for best foreign film. And among his most outstanding series is "The English", Directed by Hugo Blick and starring Emily Blunt.

In recent years he has been distinguished with several international awards, Emmy nominated, three platinum awards, of the Goyas, among others.

In this outstanding classification are also the compositions for "Neruda" (Pablo Larraín), "President" (Armando Bo), "The summer we live" (Carlos Sedes), “Loving Pablo” (Leon of Aranoa), “Misconduct” (Shintaro Shimosawa), “Kidnap” (Louis Prieto) and "7 Years", film of which he was executive producer and has premiered the theatrical version in Spain, France, Greece, Argentina and Mexico.

He has also composed the music for “La vida misma”, "The Night of Twelve Years" and the animated miniseries "Watership Down" for the BBC.
