This Friday (from 20), the Theater Complex of Buenos Aires (CTBA) presents “Oxymore (Oxymoron)”, the remote montage of the French choreographer Sophie Laplane with the Ballet Contemporáneo del Teatro San Martín directed by Andrea Chinetti with Miguel Ángel Elías in the co-direction.

Sophie Laplane, current Resident Choreographer of the Scottish Ballet, accepted the challenge of making the montage remotely to become part of the Company's repertoire and present it in 2020 through digital platforms.

"Oxymore" is a dynamic duo (created in 2013 for the Edinburgh Festival) what, casually, matches the requirements dictated by current social distancing rules.

The assembly of this duo is in charge of Luciana Ravizzi, company teacher and who brought the proposal to the Company, and Luke Ahmet, both former Scottish Ballet dancers, under the supervision of Sophie Laplane.

Thanks to the new platforms, The Contemporary Ballet was able to link with the choreographer and her assistants to carry out this assembly and thus connect four countries: France, London, United States and Argentina.
