The Ricardo Rojas Cultural Center announced the opening of the call to celebrate the Virtual Carnival, a novel experience that lacks geographical limits.

The invitation is open until 21 February and in that framework those interested may send images of stamps, small altarpieces and altarpieces alluding to the carnival universe.

Thus, the campus dependent on the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) will carry out the traditional celebration, adapted to times of pandemic and in order to create a virtual parade of carnival symbols, to be held on the social networks of the cultural center.

As detailed from the platform of the enclosure, se trata de una gran oportunidad para anunciarun desfile que alimenta y muestra la creatividad popular y ofrece nuevas formas de estar presentes en todos los espacios posibles, with those small urban and rural facilities: at the foot of a tree or a mountain, in the corner of a square, at the back of the house, on the bedside table, on the sidewalk, on the side of the road, o a orillas del río o del mar”.

The call is totally free for residents or not of the country. The material to be sent must be of own production and / or elaboration, and you must have the corresponding rights.

Once the proposals have been sent, the selection will be made by the advisor of the urban culture area, in collaboration with the Artistic Programming and Coordination area of the Cultural Center.

The interested (person or group) In participating you can consult the bases and conditions at http://www.rojas.uba.ar/convocatorias/ or write to programacionartistica@rojas.uba.ar.
