Diego Schissi Quintet will celebrate its tenth anniversary in Vinyl Café
Ten years have passed since the founding of Diego Schissi Quintet, group remained unchanged in terms of training and takes published five albums, and numerous performances in different scenarios.
All that experience and achievements will be celebrated on Friday 14 June in an enclosure which is also celebrating its tenth anniversary: Vinyl Cafe Palermo (Gorriti 3780).
In this context and from the 21 hours (with tickets that can be obtained at the box offices of the place or through its official website), the quintet composed of Diego Schissi (composition, piano and arrangements), Santiago Segret (bandoneon and vocals), Guillermo Rubino (fiddle), Ismael Grossman (guitar) and Juan Pablo Navarro (double bass) melodies will go over all his works in a very special concert, revalidating the title the brand as one of the most original ensembles in the tango scene.
born in 2009, Diego Schissi Quintet made his mark in different places, even playing 2018 at the Teatro Colon. They also learned to shape his music internationally, with presentations in France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Holland, U.S, Brazil, Colombia and Uruguay.
Meanwhile, quintet edited the plates Tongos (2010); Type Y Type (2012) -Gardel Prize winner 2013 Best Tango Album of the Alternative; Brothers (2014), by Aca Seca Trio; Timba (2016) -also Gardel Prize winner 2017 in the category of Instrumental Tango- and Tanguera (2018), dedicated to the music of Mariano Mores. In 2011 recorded, also, Live DVD Tongos.
