Doctor Carlos Bilardo will have his documentary series on HBO Max
Carlos Salvador Bilardo, one of the icons of national football, will have its own documentary series that can be seen on the HBO Max screen.
The production takes place within the framework of the landing of the signal in our country in June and will have this production focused on the iconic former player and coach of the Argentine National Team between 1983 Y 1990.
In this way, HBO Max continues with its intention to fully establish itself in the fight for audiovisual services via streaming, just like Netflix, Amazon o Disney +.
For the Latin American region of the firm, which will be carried out by the Argentine Tomás Yenkelevich, it is expected to generate more than 100 productions in the next two years, as expressed through a statement.
In that context, a total of 33 realizations are already in the process of elaboration.
Under the brand name Max Originals, The titles will cover all kinds of genres -from fiction series, films, documentaries, specials and reality shows-; some will be ready with the launch of the platform and they are already known.
There they are counted to "Bunker" (Mexican action comedy), "Moorings" (romantic drama from Mexico), "The absent ones" (brazilian drama) and the Argentine "Days of Roosters", Musical youth drama about the freestyle scene with stars like Angela Torres and Ecko.
Today two more titles were known, that will also arrive during 2021: the Mexican "Frankela's Hidden Scares", anthology of horror stories for children in stop motion animation, and the Argentine “Bilardo, the soccer doctor ".
About the figure of Bilardo, champion and runner-up with the national team in 1986 Y 1990, respectively, there will be a total of 4 episodes, with valuable testimonies about the protagonist who in 2021 fulfilled 83 years.
