After having sold out their tickets in their first face-to-face screening, Guillermo Ale's documentary “Desterrados del Molise” will premiere virtually.

this production, that reflects Italian immigration in the city of La Plata, It filled the Select Cinema room in the Buenos Aires capital several times.

Through this movie, Ale collects dozens of testimonies from Italian immigrants and world war survivors. In this way, the director - together with the Centro Molisano Sant'Elia- reruns the documentary that will be presented on the day 17 December at 19 within the framework of the "Home Cinema Cycle" produced by the Undersecretary of Human Rights of the Province of Buenos Aires.

The film is produced by the Molise Region of Italy and the Centro Molisano Sant´Elia de La Plata. Both institutions provided official data, vessel records, migrant registrations, which provided previously unpublished data for the history of the city.

As the director explains about this work, "It starts from a main idea that is the exile and the capacity of the human being to face the crossing of a trip across the ocean" and adds: "And thus disembark in a country that they do not know and in a city like La Plata, of which they had never even heard his name ".

The documentary is scheduled to be presented in Italy at the 2022. In this way, we can reach Europe with the stories that surround these migrants and La Plata. “With the film, we want to return to the starting point of this journey., make known to these peoples of Italy the adventure of these people who lived through immigration ", Guillermo Ale concluded.
