Through a requested, the director and playwright Javier Daulte asked the National State to reopen with a reduced audience in the theaters.

Daulte expressed that “the State must declare the face-to-face praxis of art essential” since the culture “more than a right, it is an obligation that must be encouraged”. It should be noted that the requested one comes after the announcement of the Provincial Government where the suspension of the summer theatrical season was confirmed.

In that context, this Thursday there will be a meeting between the members of the Argentine Association of Theater and Musical Entrepreneurs (ADEET) with authorities of both the Buenos Aires and the provincial governments.

Daulte's requested, titled "The value of face-to-face art in our society", in turn he remarked that “art is the only food that satisfies a kind of hunger that otherwise will not be satisfied except with violence (understanding consumerism as one of the forms of violence)”.
