The Orozco-Barrientos duo returns to Buenos Aires to present their album

The folkloric duo Orozco-Barrientos will return to Buenos Aires to offer a series of concerts as part of the presentation of “Regreso”, his latest album.

The appointment will be first this Wednesday 25 May at the Café Berlín in San Martín 6656, with tickets that are on sale through the Live Pass system. While, the second concert will be at El Galpón de Haedo, the cultural space located on Concordia 625 (Tickets for this recital can be purchased through Alternativa).

Formed by Raúl "Tilín" Orozco and Fernando Barrientos, In this way, the Mendoza duo will return to Buenos Aires, where they had previously presented this fourth album at the Margarita Xirgu Theater..

“Regreso” is the successor to “Tinto” and is already available on digital platforms, independently edited.

This new work -consisting of 13 themes- fue producido por Raúl y Gabriel Orozco (member of You Point it out to me), and recorded and mixed at Estatica Estudio (Mendoza) and in House of Music (Villa Mercedes). The Musical Direction was in charge of Tilín Orozco and the Executive Production of Orozco Barrientos and Pablo A. Moyano.

Orozco-Barrientos also has several awards from the industry and the media: Silver Seagull Award 2003 in Vina del Mar (Chile) for Best Folk Song for “Pintadita”; Clarin Award 2004 to the Folkloric Revelation; nomination for the Gardel Awards 2004 for Best Folk Group Album for “Celador de Sueños”; Gardel Award 2008 as Best Folklore Record for “Pulpa”; Distinction 2010 of Rolling Stone Magazine to “Pulpa” as one of the 50 Records of the Decade 2000/2010; Latin Grammy nomination 2014 for Best Folk Album for “Tinto”, and an award at the Konex Awards 2015 as Folklore Ensemble.
