The film is participating in the 22nd edition of BAFICI, in the Argentine Official Competition section that takes place from 17 and the 28 of March.

Isabel Perón is a bizarre and uncomfortable character in Argentine history: a shadowy dancer who managed to become America's first female president.

In its realization, Troksberg reflects the life of the dancer María Estela Martínez, better known as Isabel Perón or Isabelita, who achieved what could not Evita: become the first female president of Argentina.

But nevertheless, despite having integrated the most voted formula of democracy together with Juan Perón, and having survived jail and exile, his figure was forgotten and buried in popular memory.
