Created by the German actress Hanna Schygulla and based on the texts of the famous Argentine writer, the San Martín Theater will premiere “Borges and I”, played by Andrea Bonelli.

“Borges and I” will debut on stage on 6 March at 19.30 hours, with functions up to 10 of March, after Wednesday 13 Sunday 17 and Thursday 21 to saturday 23.

Through this setting, the texts of the great author will be woven together as part of the same story. You will hear memorable tangos, like “Go back”, “One” and “The Last Curda”, plus original instrumental music composed by the German Peter Ludwig.

In this proposal Hanna, admirer of the writer, With his experience and talent, he assumes the direction of the show while Andrea Bonelli will be the voice – sometimes spoken, others sung – of these little stories that speak of frustrated hopes, of apparent realities.

Regarding live music, will feature pianist Shino Ohnaga and cellist Cristina Titi Chiappero, under musical direction by Julián Vat.
