The show “Piazzolla” returns to the Sala Martín Coronado
After a short break and after a great success, the show “Piazzolla” -a tribute to the famous composer from Mar del Plata performed by the Contemporary Ballet of the San Martín Theater- will return to the Martín Coronado Room.
Directed by Andrea Chinetti, "Piazzolla" will return on 23 of September, with performances on Wednesdays and Thursdays (from 20). Presentations will continue on days 23, 29 Y 30 September and 6, 7, 20 Y 21 October.
This show is carried out within the framework of the centenary of the birth of Ástor Piazzolla, one of the most influential composers of the 20th century. For this reason, The San Martín Contemporary Ballet pays tribute to him with a program made up of three works by Mauricio Wainrot and a choreography by Ana Itelman, where dance meets great bandoneonist music
The program is made up of the choreographies "There comes the King" by Ana Itelman on "Canto de Octubre", "Escualo" – duo of Buenos Aires Stations, "Libertango" and "Four stations of Buenos Aires", all by Mauricio Wainrot.
