Between the first and the 5 November a new edition of the Callejón Festival will be held, a meeting that highlights the best of theater, dance and music performed by female artists.

For this edition, the Festival proposes a much broader grid, with more functions and triple daily program in Espacio Callejón, the traditional venue located in the neighborhood of Almagro.

One of the great novelties of this year will be the presentation of "Aquatic Ballet" (of Memi Ladogana) and “Ryan engine brother” (de Ana Schimelman), two premieres with own production. You can also enjoy "How to stop the mist" (by Jazmin Titiunik), guest work.

Regarding the parallel activities, two ‘work in progress’ will be carried out: "subatomic", by Mia Miceli and 'The victory of the incompatible' by Mariana La Torre.

The Callejón Festival will also offer live music during the intervals. Within that context, Vero Gerez will perform at the theater bar, Ailin Zaninovich and Jose Scaglione.

The artist and curator of the proposal Ramiro Bailiarini (with Sebastian France) explains that in this edition "the festival bets on its own production and the visibility, as usual, of the most talented creators of contemporary performing arts”. in turn holds: “The Callejón Festival is an independent space that we support and produce hand in hand with the artists we admire and with whom we love to share creative processes”.

It should be noted that the official opening will be with free admission., this Monday 31 October (starting at 20). All the participating artists will be there and an exhibition curated by María Canale will be officially inaugurated..
