Until the 26 of this month and through octubretv.com.ar you can enjoy a new edition of Latinarab, the Latin Arab Film Festival that from today takes place online.

On the other hand, and in addition to the programming, the edition came with conferences and special meetings that will be broadcast live on the Latin American Council of Social Sciences Channel Clasco TV.

The organizers of the meeting pointed out that thanks to a dynamic embedded in south-south cooperation, “The festival has managed to position itself during 2018 Y 2019 at the Cannes Film Festival as one of the 100 most relevant actors in the Arab film industry according to Arab Cinema Magazine ".

Likewise, the meeting had four Latin Arab Co-Production Forums, promoting co-production agreements between states and film institutes, helping finance and develop more than 50 audiovisual projects and receiving in recognition of this work the Unesco Sharjah Prize for Arab Culture in 2018 in Paris.

The festival has an Arab Feature Film Competition, an Arab Short Film Competition, a Latin American Feature Film Competition and a Latin American Short Film Competition, as well non-competitive sections.
