This edition will feature the 3 Regular Official Competitions: International Fiction Feature Films Competition, International Documentary Feature Competition (integrated by films from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela), and the NOA Region Short Film Competition (composed of short films from Jujuy, Salta, Tucumán, Santiago del Estero, Catamarca and La Rioja).

The Festival's films will be accessible from a computer, tablet or mobile phone, free of charge with the creation of a user on the Festival website (www.cinedelasalturas.com.ar), This subscription will enable the display of 34 films in competition. The Artistic Directors of the Festival, will select 12 fiction feature films, 12 documentary feature films and 10 short films for the different competitions forming the Official Selection for the Edition 2020. Regarding the projections with the public during the Festival, will be limited to the functions of Drive-in cinema complying with a strict protocol of security and social distancing of all attendees.

In addition to the projections, talks will be held, trainings and interviews with the protagonists and audiovisual producers online.
