The Develop Fund will contribute 30 millions to cultural spaces
Recently and in response to the cultural sectors, affected in their income due to social and compulsory isolation, the Ministry of Culture of the Nation launched the Develop Fund, a program that will mean financial support for these spaces.
This initiative - which officially opened yesterday- will remain open until 12 May extends to all those cultural spaces located in different parts of the country, open to the community in which cultural actors and collectives develop the production, training, research and promotion of art and culture.
According to the Ministry's website, this aid aims at cultural centers, rocks, milongas, live music clubs, art spaces, circus, dance and theater; to spaces in which educational or training activities related to artistic disciplines are carried out, such as courses, workshops, lessons, seminars; places where performances of performing arts are held, visual and audiovisual arts exhibitions, and community and solidarity activities.
Both human and legal persons (civil associations, foundations, cooperatives, limited liability companies and corporations) can register for this first call.
However, What does this subsidy consist of? The capacity of each space will depend first, for this reason there will be three modalities: A, B y C.
The first involves those places whose capacity does not exceed 100 people, with the help of 100 A thousand pesos. The second modality includes establishments with capacity that ranges from 100 Y 200 people. For them the help will be 150.000.
By last, places that can hold a capacity that oscillates the 200 Y 300 people will receive a grant from 200 A thousand pesos.
To access this subsidy, Those who contemplate these characteristics may register through a form found on the official site of the Culture area and will then be evaluated by a committee made up of two officials from the Ministry of Culture of the Nation., a member of the Secretary of Cultural Development and another member of the Secretary of Cultural Management, both with a rank of not less than the National Director and three representatives and / or specialists from National Universities with an academic profile in cultural management.
